We are excited to share the news about Elaine’s recent achievements. We are so lucky to have her reside at Riverside Gardens and enthusiasm with the regular Reading Group.
Elaine Staples is a keen writer of short stories and articles. She wanted to share her enthusiasm with fellow residents when she moved to Riverside Gardens so started the Reading Group.
It is held fortnightly and very well patronised. There have been numerous guest speakers presenting their published works.
To everyone’s delight Elaine submitted an article for the Seniors Card Short Story Competition 2019 and was published! Needless to say we are all ecstatic
Recently Elaine was invited to Parliament House NSW to receive her Certificate.
